Married: Maureen Dalton 33 yrs, after steady dating for 7 years

kids: both married Dayna (29) and husband Joe live in Chicago, Matthew (27) and wife Stephanie live outside Cincinnati; grandkids: 0; We have a very close extended family with 9 nieces and nephews and look forward to our family gatherings.

Education: Maureen, graduated Mercy College, has been an RN for 35 years, mostly in Home Care. Myself, Wayne State University, BS in Bus. Admin, (80), MA Industrial Relations (92). After obtaining my professional cert (SPHR), I've been teaching adjunct for 17 years, first Oakland University, last 9 with University of Michigan - Dearborn. 9 years ago someone talked me into doing taxes as a side line, and I discovered it's what I should've been doing all along; obtained Enrolled Agent in '09.

After working for my Dad in landscaping and then going into restaurants for 7 years, a co-op opportunity led me to the Federal Gov't for another 7.5 years and a short stint as a union leader. I went to the private sector thinking the grass was "greener on the other side of the fence." Money was good, even better when I started working for auto suppliers, but the work hours doubled. Last true vacation was in '92. Every 3 to 5 years the supplier companies I worked for would hit an economic pot-hole. So, after firing everyone, including myself three times, I would start all over again. In '05 I took a chance on working for a produce company (least stressful job I've had in 35 yrs), but after 5 years, they too hit the economic pot-hole and I was out looking again. Got lucky and recently obtained a position with the VA, doing fiduciary work with elderly and disabled veterans (a very humbling experience).

Maureen got me involved with walking half marathons, until I broke my foot. We cycle, camp (particularly Muskegon State Park for almost 20 years now), garden (she's into flowers and I've had to resort to aerial gardening for my vegetables), we enjoy going to live theater, and most of all, we enjoy visiting our kids (especially being their cheering section when they are running half marathons, triathlons or auto racing). For 12 years I was involved with Cub Scouts for my nephews and son. Gave up sailing a few years back as a result of one of the layoffs. When I have time I'm into making beer (a good homemade beer is my Achilles heel) and for the last 12 years I've been doing Santa Claus for charities and private families. I've learned to appreciate the magic of a private moment between Santa and a young child. We enjoy reading the bio's and we look forward to visiting with you at the class re-union.

Single: Kids: Kurt(1973) & Connie(1977); # Grandkids: 8;

Activities: reading, helping others, swimming, cottage life, sewing;

Vacations: Any where in the Caribbean;

Employment: Family Practice Physician

History: After 24 years in family medicine, I closed my private practice in 2015 to transition to working part-time within a family medicine group practice. In April, of 2017 I decided to retire from medicine to spend more time with my family, including my husband, our two children, and eight grandchildren. A year later I was asked to come back into the medical profession. I enjoy this work- in fact, I love it! I get to see patients, which I have always cherished, one day a week in Chesterfield near my old office. I also have two part-time jobs as a Regional Medical Director and Senior Physician Advisor, consulting for a physician-hospital group. This work keeps me learning, engaged and passionate in a profession I love and continues to keep my mind sharp!

I travel to visit friends and family and continue to sew and crochet.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Jim and I retired in 2018 and moved to Clarksville to be near our son and away from long, cold winters. Jim spends much of his time restoring antique radios and I am a quilter with tons of fabric I need to sew before I die, so I expect to live a long time!

I hope we can make it to the reunion and would appreciate some info regarding the details. Thanks, Terri
