History: My story since high school ...h...m...m...m... went to college at MTU and wasted a year at EMU. Was transferred to Vermont in '74 by Dominos Pizza as a Manager. Had a stint in a R&R band touring the East Coast for four years. Played drums. Worked for the state in Corrections Dept. for several years and then finally got to use my college education at Blodgett Oven Company in Burlington for 20+ years as a Mechanical Designer. Am a co-holder of two U.S. patents. I was laid off from Blodgett in '03 after hostile takeover. Started CAD design business in '04 and work about 20 hours per week. Had health issues with cancer and my neck back in 2007/2008 but am clean since...thank

God for modern technology! I am married to a wonderful woman who is an architect and owns her own firm. We have a daughter in middle school who loves ballet. Older son graduated from college recently and is gamefully employed in his field of automotive technology & design.

We have the normal assortment of domestic animals. The family is involved in gardening, volunteering in the community, hiking, snowshoeing, x-cty skiing, biking, ice boating, snowboarding, and heavily into sailing. We race our Capri -30 sailboat on Lake Champlain in club races and on weekends races. We have a Nacra catamaran that my son and I race on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I teach sailing in the Summer at a sailing school down the beach from the club. We are fortunate to live in a small town along the shores of the lake which is nestled between New York and Vermont. Close by are friend's farms so we have a ample supply of fresh food. The mountains are just to our east making it a short drive to the slopes. The sky is so blue at night. I am most thankful for the good family and good friends that we have. And the hundreds of geese that fly just above the tops of the trees surrounding our house in the Fall and Spring! They are so beautiful to watch and listen to. Our family is so fortunate!Ê

Spouse: Dee; Married 36 yrs; Kids: Jen (25), James Jen a graduate of DePauw University and is a project manager for Carlson Marketing in Troy Mi. James is a graduate of Kalamazoo College where he played football for 4 years. He is presently teaching English in China.

Activities: I swam Lake St Clair as a part of a three man relay for the third year in a row to raise awareness and money for cystic fibrosis. I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro last year and got my license to drive Formula 3 cars this year.

Vacations: In the last several years my wife and I vacationed in Scotland, Italy, France, Switzerland, and we are going to Greece this October.

History: I practice law practice in downtown Detroit where I specialize in litigation.
