Spouse: Cheryl (22 yrs); Kids: Matt(18) Luke(16); History: Got out of school, married (briefly) and moved to Chicago. Lived there for 20 years with a 3 year detour in NYC. Worked for a law firm and consulting firms and gravitated toward Human Resources which has been my career since. Married Cheryl in 1992 (got it right the second time). Never thought we would leave Chicago, but moved to NJ for a new job in 2000. We love it here. A few minutes from the ocean and close to NYC and Philly.

On 9/10/01 at 8:00am I flew out of Newark for San Francisco - the flight that left the next day never got there. We lost 18 people from our neighborhood and could see the smoke from the towers for days. It was a sad time for our otherwise healthy and happy family.

I head HR for a cosmetics/fragrance company (don't get any credit for Valentines gifts of perfume any more). Cheryl runs a Coldwell Banker real estate office near by. The boys are getting ready for college.

In our free time we read, go to the shore, occasional golf, some travel and work on the house - should be finished rehabbing sometime before my 85th birthday at the rate I am going!

I made the 10th reunion and regret not having made the rest - see you at the next one - I hope.

History: I was living in Grand Rapids for the last three years but moved home this year to help with family matters. I have been a Home Furnishing Consultant for the last 16 years. I am presently at Art Van's main location on 14 & Van Dyke.

History: Hi to all. It was enjoyable to read about your lives. As for me, I've been blessed as well. My treasure is my family. I've been married to Kathy for 34 years. We have five beautiful children. Bridget (33) has a master's degree in special ed and teaches at the Lanse Creuse school district. Michael, 30 years, just finished his master's program in school counseling in middle school in Canton, GA. Renee (27). is finishing up her master's. She just started a new job as an Employee Relations Specialist for the Lake Orion schools. Justin (21), is going to WSU and hoping to be a P.A. He went to LSU for two years, did an Internship at Disney World and then decided to change courses into the medical arena. Alex (18), is attending his first year at Belmont Abbey College in N.C.

As for me,after graduating from Oakland University, I did volunteer work for the Federal Gov't Action Program. I then worked for Toys R Us as a manager, Industrial Buyer and Area Supervisor. After 17 years of grueling, long hours, I was motivated to change my career. I obtained my CFP and work as a financial advisor/stock broker. I currently work at Macomb School and Government Credit Union.

Life is very busy. We have four( and one coming),grandchildren. They are so precious ;Emma,4 years, Isabella,4 years, Grace,1 year, Luke,3mths., and another girl due in December. May God continue to bless you all!, Mike L'Esperance.
